Pioneering title technology since 1958
In 1958, J. Berch Haviland and DeBlois Milledge incorporated South Ridge Abstract and set out to build one of the first computerized title plants in the United States — on an experimental IBM computer at the University of Miami. We've kept pace with every change in the industry since, and we were among the first Florida title companies to offer computerized closings.
Today the company is owned and run by Nathan and Kate Haviland Gray, the third generation to carry it forward. Same office, same community, same standard.
